July 24th

On July 24th the girls were responsible for face painting.  In Toquerville the three wards are in charge of putting together the festivities for the day.  We first had a parade where McKinlye and Arryn were able to ride with the Mayor in a SWEET mustang and Jessica and Madison were able to ride on Hendrickson's blue car.

After the parade there was a pancake breakfast at the park.  There was a short program with fun pioneer songs and stories.  The girls were called out to start off the games by throwing a water balloon into a colander tied on a boy's head.  It didn't last very long but it was a great start to the games.  

Before the games started the girls handed out little hair comb crowns to all the little girls that were there.  This was super fun for the girls.  They will hand them out at Peach Days as well.   

 The girls' responsibility was to do face painting during the games.
