Float Construction:
Day 1:
Paint clothes gold.
Use gold floral sheeting to make gold inside of pot.
Paint shoes gold.
Use black floral sheeting to make the pot.
Day 2:
Use rainbow floral sheeting to make rainbow.
Use backdrop to tell others why we are "Lucky".
It really is the people.
Day 3:
Finish with the reordered gold and black floral sheeting.
Finalize rainbow.
Make cloud.
Day 4:
Drive float to St. George.
Finish decorating with fringe and festooning.
Get some sleep for the early morning start of the parade.
Day 5:
Get gold.
Get on float for judging.
Visit Washington County Royalty.

Enjoy the Washington County Fair Parade!
Although we did not win any prizes or didn't even place for the royalty floats, we felt like we did a very good job and our float was beautiful! The best part was getting all dressed up in GOLD. We had gold body paint (Kryolan) that was water soluble and was very comfortable to wear and easy to apply and even easy to wash off! We had gold candies to throw which was very fun. We learned to work together and enjoyed getting to know each other better. Wait..... isn't that what its all about?
